  1. “I thought I told you I wanted to do this alone. Why are you here?”
  2. “Papa, dinner is ready. There’s soup and…Papa?”
  3. “Make sure to pack plenty of water. It’s supposed to be hot today.”
  4. “Hey, can you hold this for me? I just have to get something out of my locker really quick. I’ll be back soon.”
  5. “Tell him that the project’s due on Friday, and he needs to do some research tomorrow.”
  6. “I’m not sure I like where this plan is headed.”
  7. “Do you guys need anything from the grocery store?”
  8. “Please don’t tell me you’re going to quit.”
  9. “The coordinates show that it’s right here, but I don’t see anything.”
  10. “I don’t think you’re supposed to want to take the test.”
  11. “Should we go in? It looks pretty dark in there.”
  12. “Run! Hurry!”
  13. “Jeez, you don’t have to be so rude, you know.”
  14. “I don’t think you understand what I’m saying. It’s imperial felony to break in to the vaults.”
  15. “Hey, look what we found!”
  16. “I’m sorry, but there really wasn’t another option.”
  17. “Mommy, what is that?”
  18. “Please go away. I don’t feel like talking about it right now.”
  19. “The trail stopped over there, by the stream, right? So why is it over here? There’s no way that trail could’ve connected with this one.”
  20. “Put this on. Don’t take it off or let anyone see your face. It’s just how things are done here.”
  21. “ID number?”
  22. “There you go. Thank you.”
  23. “Wait, what? No, you’re kidding me.”
  24. “Oh, we could go to the game tonight, if you want. It should be fun.”
  25. “Do you guys have wifi in here?”
  26. “Hey, thanks for letting me stay the night. I really appreciate it.”
  27. “Excuse me? Is anyone in here? Hello?”
  28. “That’s—that’s not supposed to happen. They weren’t supposed to be released until…This isn’t good.”
  29. “But that’s what happened in a book. This is real life, not some fairy tale.”
  30. “I don’t like her. Not at all.”
